In most cases, short-term double vision is not a serious or threatening condition and can be treated with an in-home appointment. Many causes of double vision are caused by other problems with the eye, such as dry or red eye irritations. If you have been experiencing double vision for more than a few hours it would be recommended to contact medical emergency personally immediately.
